SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM ATLANTIC CITY ELECTRIC

Given the potential for snow followed by sleet or freezing rain—which can lead to downed trees, power lines, and service interruptions—Atlantic City Electric has proactively increased staffing and mobilized crews to respond quickly and safely to any outages that may occur. Our top priorities throughout the storm will be public safety, continuity of service to critical facilities, and restoring power as efficiently as possible.

Summary from the news released by Atlantic City Electric:

Key customer preparedness and safety messages, including:
•    Encouraging customers to assemble emergency storm kits and fully charge essential devices in advance
•    Reminding residents who rely on electricity for medical equipment to confirm backup plans
•    Reinforcing the importance of reporting outages promptly and staying clear of downed power lines
•    Highlighting available outage reporting tools and emergency communication channels

We are sharing this information with local leaders throughout our service area to ensure coordination and situational awareness as the storm approaches. We are working directly with your County OEM to assure we coordinated response in addressing critical needs.
