Bridgeton Area Chamber of Commerce and its Bridgeton Business Alliance Committee participated in and promoted a merchants meeting of the Bridgeton UEZ on April 30, 5-8 PM at Plaza Bridgeton.
More than 60 people attended to talk to each other about their businesses, to learn more about the UEZ, and to get introduced to the Chamber of Commerce. Stephanie Gonzalez, Bridgeton UEZ Coordinator, and Minerva Alvarado, of Essential Senior Services and Chamber 1st Vice President, planned and coordinated the meeting and made presentations at the meeting.
The meeting team also included Laurie LaTorre, Chamber Member Services Coordinator, Denise Jackson, Cumberland Empowerment Zone Executive Director, and Tony Stanzione, CEO of the Chamber.
As a result of the meeting and a special membership offer by the Chamber, 15 businesses joined the Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber thanks them and the partners in this meeting and we welcome these new members.
