DOG DAYS OF SUMMER PRESENTED BY BRIDGETON AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ON AUG. 12 AT CEDAR ROSE VINEYARDS WAS A GREAT EVENT FOR ALL WHO ATTENDED AND FOR THE CANINES OF THE CUMBERLAND COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT AND THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO PARTNER WITH THEM.

We thank them for their service to our communities.

We also thank all who attended, sponsored, donated, and volunteered to make this event a success.

While we are still doing some bookkeeping for the event, the early numbers indicate that the net profit, all of which will be donated to the Sheriff's K9 Unit, will be more than double last year's profit of $2,000.

See the Chamber's Facebook page for photos and video from the event and thanking sponsors, partners, participants, and volunteers.

We are grateful to Whiskey Sunset who donated their services adding $600 to the profit for the K9's. Thank you!
